| SIGKAGE project was released ! |
The www.animefan.ro site is proud to announce that the SIGKAGE project was released. This project is about a GFX contest between the two parts of this site: the romanians and the rest of the world.
This contest has two phases: the preliminary phase when all the members of this site can participate and the final phase where only the first 3 places are allowed to participate.
The preliminary phase scheduled between 25.06.2024 - 30.06.2024 and the final phase between 01.07.2024 - 30.07.2024

With this occasion I want to say that all projects that animefan site will take part of will be presented at our dedicated section: AF PROJECTS
Beside this, I want to announce the future release of a new project that animefan is working on, but i can't give you any details, because it's a secret .. for now.
I hope that in the future, we can organize contests between other anime sites.
Good luck to all the contestants and i want to ask those who do not participate at this contest to assist us.

Kuro-Hana fansub posted the following news in wich they explain that they received a letter, forcing them to drop the Death Note project
"Sad news to inform all off our watchers for Death Note.
We have just received a C&D;(Cease and Desist) from VIZ Media stating for us to stop all distribution of Death Note by 22nd June 2007.
(This letter has also been served to Animanda, c1anime? & Several Death Note fan sites.)
As most of you know we have been subbing Death Note since it got licensed back at episode 12, starting from ANFS and working our way to Kuro-Hana.
We have decided to stop subbing/distributing Death Note by the 22nd of June.
Death Note 36/37 MIGHT be done by us, depending on how we go about this, if not, expect to see another group rise up."
