i created my sig into an animated flash banner, but when i export it into an animated gif file it doesnt animate and the colours go very pixelated.

help ><;

Plus i cant get photobucket to preview the animated sig on forums cuz its not a gif. So the swf file doesnt display if you "img" link it. and if yo "Url" link it...it links to the animated file but its not viewing it at its correct ratio proportion..

any ideas??

can i import it into fireworks from flashmx? ..........its so gay! ><;
Or maybe i can give you the raw flash file to some1 and you can find a way to export it???

Flash pro doesnt give u option to optimise when you save as or export.

plus cus i create multiple movie clips and interlaced them layer upon layer.So the actual scene when exported doesnt show the frames as a gif. It only shows the animated frames when u export it as swf.

so do u know a uploading site?

uhm ... even if u find a site to upload it ... u couldn't use it as a sig i think ... for as far as i know in the profile form at the signature u type [img]<url address>[/img] ... and any *.swf file aint an image file ... its more like a sort of "movie" ...
ok i don't realy know how to explain this but i'll try ... uhm .. u see if u have a site and u want such a file in it ... u are likely to use the <embed src=" " > ex: <embed src="name.swf"> or for other multimedia files <embed src="name.mov"> .. but this code applies to html there are other options as well but this is the only one that crosses my mind right now ... there are sites that are built up only in flash
true, i don't realy know how things work on a forum .. but since there is that thing with [img] u should use an image file(.jpg, .gif, .bmp or .png)
but because u want an animated sig the only option is .gif ... i understand that in flash there is no way to do that .. i know some flash .. not much but some basic stuff ... if i understood well u exported the file as a gif from file>export>export image ... and the animation didn't worked and the colors were bad ... uhm a gif doesn't always mean that the image must be animated, and idk why it damaged the colors .. true i have never tried something like but if i'm not wrong the only image that is exported is the first's frame image... and there is a huge difference between a swf file and a gif file both work with images and text but in different ways .. that's why there are programs and plug-ins that are specialy made to play swf files such as the well known flash player, and special programs for images such as acdsee, windows picture and fax viewer (from windows) and photoshop to manipulate images and other several and other tones of programs
(cncl from my point of view(sol): fireworks, photoshop, picasa or others)

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! I MADE A COOL ANIMATED SIG AND I CANT USE IT!!! ><; GAY GAY GAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even if i exported the gif frames (so 27frames all up) when it exports them each frame is the same as the first.
Reason being so i have this scene that goes for 27frames right? But thats only the duration, so each layer withing that duration has its own movie clip. which can only be played when you enter that movie clip layer. Understand?

I dont understand why flash does that? is it because by exporting Gif it does not pick up the loop movie symbols? So rather than a movie symbols i should have stuck with symbol with on a frame by fram basis?

cuz then i could grab each frame and the export it as a whole new clip in fireworks or image ready right?

IS there any way? maybe adobe premire or after affects ..any programs than can view a exported swf file then convert it into a gif? Kinda like how people take cut outs from anime series and convert the animation into a gif.
