the sig's are not bad, i like the colours, but the wallpaper needs some work... its the colours i think... you did something that wasnt needed..

i like the rayne theme sig...because of the sig mostly but the background and blending still need some work. like bol said u need to read/use some tutotarials for practice.

as for the wallpaper..again i love the rocking haruhi theme alot. the colors aren't all that bad...but  you made it all a bit too dark,and the bg c4d doesn't really fit the nature of the render all that well imho. not bad for a starters tho just practice more and try out several things on your sig untill you like the outcome. personaly thats how i do it. i dont really like "studying" tuts. thats why, when i make my sigs i usualy take my time (1-2 hours) and experiment with different stuff untill i think it looks good or i like the outcome in order for me (or others) to use it. try one of those two methods and see what comes out.and allways remember to experiment with ALL your available seting/shaders/backgrounds/filters,etc. that way you'll know what to do on your next sig :)
